Kassandra Polanco

Kassandra’s practice focuses primarily on Medical Malpractice, including matters involving nursing home and hospital negligence, misdiagnoses and/or delayed diagnoses of medical conditions, and injuries sustained during medical procedures. A portion of her practice also involves general negligence.  Kassandra serves as a Board Member of the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association, an organization dedicated to promoting and fostering the advancement of the Hispanic legal profession and community as a whole.  Kassandra received her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During law school, she served as the President of the Trial Advocacy and Practice Honor Society and President of the Women’s Bar Association. Kassandra was also an active member of Law Review, where she published Trimming the Fat: The GDPR as a Model for Cleaning Up Our Data Usage, in 2020.  Super Lawyers recognized Kassandra as a 2023 and 2024 New York Metro Rising Star.  Kassandra is also an active member of the New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County and is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York.
