Rommel is an Associate with Krentsel, Guzman & Herbert, LLP, practicing mainly as a member of the Medical Malpractice Team. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and received his Juris Doctor at Brooklyn Law School. At Brooklyn Law School, he was recognized for his academic achievements with a CALI Award for Excellence in the Discovery Workshop course. During law school, Rommel also served as a Sports Chair for The Brooklyn Entertainment and Sports Law Society and served as a Media Editor for The Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment Law Blog.

Rommel is currently admitted to practice in New York and throughout his legal career has covered a wide breadth of practice areas including entertainment, contracts, real estate, landlord/tenant, animal law, and defamation.
