Nicholas’s empathy and passion for his clients are exemplified in the millions of dollars in compensation he has helped obtain to date through his diligence and perseverance. Starting as an intern for a litigation and trial judge in Supreme Court, Nassau County, where he began learning the art of trial, negotiation, and legal writing from the inside, Nicholas began his career on the defense representing and defending various hospitals and medical providers against serious potential multi-million dollar lawsuits. His empathy for injured individuals guided him to switch to prosecuting actions and obtaining compensation on behalf of negligence victims. He has tried multiple cases to successful verdicts on both liability and damages, and has successfully obtained favorable results on appeal, where he both perfected written submissions and appeared for oral arguments.
Nicholas received his Doctor of Jurisprudence at Hofstra University School of Law, and his admissions include New York State in 2009, the United States District Court, Southern District of New York in 2014, the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York in 2016, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in 2014. Nicholas is also a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as an infantryman and team leader.
